Iconic Indigenous Australian music duo Stiff Gins came to Four-Legged Fish Studios with their delightful yet unlikely love story, seeking to bring it to life in an animated music video to pair with their 2025 album release.

Soft, organic, and approachable, the style draws on the works of Australian children’s illustrators such as Alison Lester, Bruce Whatley and Julie Vivas. Keeping in mind the short project turnaround and the client’s budget, we focussed on creating charming yet simple designs with clear posing and sustained shots to really let the love story sing.
